Just a quick reflection of the past twelve months as the year comes to an end. Although there are no trophies in the cabinet, it was a successful year on the field with finals football for four sides and numerous awards to our players.
Off the field as it is elsewhere, times are tough financially so we must tighten the purse strings and as in the past ask our members to put their hand up and support us not only during the football season, but also throughout the off season. So it is important that in the next twelve months we keep the winning ways on and off the field so we can continue to build the momentum in and around the clubrooms.
Finally to everyone involved in the club I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Drive carefully, drink in moderation and I will see you all at the club in 2017.

Foodland Community Dollars
The Club is greatly appreciating the efforts by everyone in regards to the Drakes Foodland Community Dollars. The club is receiving regular cheques from the support that our members have shown to Drakes Foodland and we strongly encourage as many as possible to join in. If you do not have a Drakes key-ring card to use at Drakes Foodland please grab one from the club – remember to get it swiped as you pay for your groceries to get some community dollars flowing into our club! Too see how it works http://www.drakes.com.au/community/ It cost you nothing and the Club reaps the benefits…. From little things, big things grow.
Due to Christmas Day falling on a Sunday this year the clubrooms will be closed from Saturday 24th December reopening on Thursday 29th December 2016. Just in time for the New Year!!!
Volunteers for 2017
As always the club will look to produce the best football and club experience we can possibly achieve. This is only possible with the passionate and hard working volunteers that put their hand up to help our great club week in week out. Season 2017 will be no different, In fact we are looking to push it even further and are on the look out for more people who are willing to help out the club they love. Whether it is being a Match Day Official, working behind a bar for a couple of hours, being on a social committee or just generally helping when you can, we are need your help!!!
So don’t leave it to others be the one who leads from the front to make the club a more successful club.
As always we value our sponsors dearly and coming into the Christmas period please support those who support us!
The Lincoln South Club wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy & Safe New Year.
